Upon arriving to Hotel Lago Grey, your guide will check the group in for the Grey III boat navigation.
Breathe in the pure mountain air as you set off on your hour-long hike across the Grey Beach. Embrace the wild Patagonian wind and marvel at the tremendous, cyan-blue icebergs sitting before you. Board the Grey III navigation and enjoy a 45-minute journey gradually revealing the immense ice wall belonging to Grey Glacier. After crossing the massive Grey Lake, the group will disembark the navigation and walk only a few minutes to their accommodation for the night, Refugio Grey. Following check-in, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the Refugio or set off with your guide to explore some of Grey Glacier’s best viewpoints!

If luck is on your side, you may catch ice calving into the deep, freezing waters of Grey Lake.
Take a break with your group at Refugio Grey before starting out for more stunning views of the Southern Patagonia Ice Field and the iceberg marked Grey Lake. Ascend through a hilly forest until reaching the sometimes (very) windy Glacier Grey viewpoint. Follow the trail to Laguna de Los Patos, where you’ll descend into a narrow, windy valley that takes you directly to Refugio Paine Grande.

Distance: 11.8 miles / Time: 7-8hrs / Level of Difficulty: Intermediate / Accommodation: Refugio or Camping Torre Central / Meals: Breakfast , Packed lunch and Dinner.
After breakfast with your group, prepare for another day of breathtaking Patagonian backdrops. Today’s hike will be round trip starting and finishing at Refugio Paine Grande. Travel to the heart of the park through barren landscapes and by bordering the enchanting blue waters of Lake Skottsberg. After approximately 2.5hrs of hiking, you’ll arrive to the Italiano Ranger Station where you’ll begin your journey up the valley.
Climb through a massive boulder field and follow a tree-lined ridge until reaching the French plateau (Mirador Frances). Here, you’ll be rewarded with heart-stopping views of Los Cuernos (the Horns), turquoise glacial lagoons and gorgeous blue hanging glaciers cascading down the east face of Paine Grande (3,050mts). If you’re lucky, you’ll hear the thundering sound of water and ice crashing down, as it is a common spot to witness avalanches. Enjoy your packed lunch and a well-deserved rest. Return on the same trail to the Italiano Ranger Station and back to Refugio Paine Grande.
At 6:30pm, take the catamaran to the Pudeto boat dock, where you’ll board a semi-private van to the Visitor’s Center. Your guide will register the group with the Cerro Paine Reserve and you’ll walk a short distance to Refugio Torre Central, your lodge/campsite for the night.
